Stefan Marinkovic

Stefan Marinkovic works at ISO, the International Organization for Standardization, since 2008.


He first started as Project Manager in the Conformity Assessment Committee (CASCO), the ISO policy committee which is responsible for the development of standards addressing testing laboratories, certification, accreditation, etc. Stefan is now a Technical Programme Manager in the Standard Production Department and looks after 15 technical committees working mostly in the fields of management systems and services.

Before working in ISO, Stefan worked for the International Trade Centre (ITC), a Geneva-based UN agency co-funded by the UNCTAD (United Nations Conference on Trade and Development) and the WTO (World Trade Organization). ITC mission is to provide technical assistance to small businesses in developing and transition-economy countries in order to increase their exports. During more than 6 years, Stefan held different positions in ITC where he has been able to develop his knowledge and competence in running technical assistance projects (specifically in small businesses competitiveness and packaging fields).

Stefan holds a Sociology Diploma from Lyon University (France). He is a French national with Serbian and Dutch parents, is married to a Colombian national and is father of two.
